Agent Guide
Create and manage your AI assistants
What is an agent
An agent is an AI assistant that handles messages and tasks for you.
Each agent has its own identity, role, account assignment, and context.
You can create different agents for family members, team roles, or business workflows.
Create an agent
1. Open the Agents page in the left sidebar.
2. Click Add Agent.
3. Fill in the ID, display name, and role description.
4. Save it and continue with configuration.
Assign accounts
Open Channels inside the agent detail page.
Select the WeChat, Feishu, or other accounts this agent should handle.
A single account should usually belong to one agent to avoid mixed messages.
Choose a backend
Each agent can use a different backend.
Common options include OpenClaw, Hermes, Codex, Claude, HTTP, and MCP/ACP.
Pick the backend that matches the task, latency, and cost profile.
